This blog is to record my ideas to create wealth over a long term period.
My ideas will be on different sectors right from Stocks to fixed deposits, business ideas to AgroForestry and so on.
One might stick on to the regular savings practice to create huge wealth. One might be ready to sacrifice some unwanted expenses to accumulate wealth over long time. Warren Buffet, one of the best investor of all time has once said 'If you buy things don't need, you will soon sell things you need'. So don't go for expensive things when you can manage the same comfort with the low cost alternatives.
Try to save even on a small things, remember the saying 'Ocean is made up of small drops'. Also apart from saving regularly, you also need to make your savings grow at the healthy phase to avoid the risk of eroding the value of the savings due to Inflation.
Don't ever make leave your saving for long time in the form of physical cash or leave the same in the bank account idle. One of biggest wealth creator over the long time is the power of compounding, If you invest Rs. 1000 in bank deposit at the rate of interest 10% then Rs 1000 will become 1100 after the end of first year and the second year the interest will be applicable on Rs 1100, that is your amount of Rs.1100 become Rs.1210 (interest is Rs.110 on 1100 ). so consider the amount when you invest the same for a period of Long term say 10 years / 20 years.
Also other sector you can look at is the Stock market. select the companies which are growing at the good rate. Recently I have read article that a small amount of Rs.10000 invested in Wipro on 1980 will be worth Rs.450 crores today. Over the time Wipro has become a true wealth builder.
Some one who has some land can have look at growing trees. a well grown tree of good breed can earn you in tens of thousands. The wonder is, if you are taking up farming activities, then there are varieties of trees which can be grown with negligible effect to your farming activities. this process is called as AGROFORESTRY.
